South African woman, Johanna Mazibuko, is the oldest woman in the world at the age of 128. The Centenarian celebrated her birthday on May 11 and ever since then, there have been loud calls to have her enlisted in the Guinness World Record.

Johanna Mazibuko was born on May 11, 1894. She grew up on a maize farm in the farming province of Ottosdal. Despite being illiterate, she told local outlet: “We lived so well on the farms. There were no problems.” Due to old age, Johan Mazibuko doesn’t really remember all of her memories.

Explaining to a local outlet, she remembers being married to an older man whose wife had died. His name was Stawana Mazibuko. “He was an independent man. He had a horse carriage and cows. I would milk the cows and make butter to sell. That man treated me very well and made me forget about my life before him. I did not want for anything.”
